What’s Happening at NB3 Foundation this November!
It’s that time of year again! NB3FIT WEEK 2020 is only a month away and the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation is excited to once again call upon Tribes, Native-led organizations, urban Indian centers, schools and groups to host a VIRTUAL Native youth-centered physical activity, fitness and/or healthy activity event during NB3FIT WEEK, November 2-8, 2020. Join others from across the country to promote Native youth health and fitness in your community.
What’s new this year?
This year, they are encouraging all organizations to host VIRTUAL or SOCIAL DISTANCED events in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our Native communities have been hit especially hard and the Notah Begay III Foundation wants to encourage healthy movement and activity keeping safety protocol top of mind. They ask that you follow any and all local Coronavirus-related restrictions set forth in your communities.
Need help thinking of a virtual event for your community?

How to register?
It’s easy. Simply visit the NB3FIT WEEK webpage and register your event. There is no cost or obligation. Once you have registered, we will send you a link to an online toolkit to help you promote your event.
NB3FIT WEEK continues to be the largest collective Native youth physical activity event in the country. Last year, we engaged over 10,000 Native youth through over 90 registered sites and over 120 physical activity and health-centered events in 21 states!
Thank you for being part of a movement to promote healthy, active lifestyles among our children and leading by example.
Join the NB3FIT Virtual Community XC Race
In response to the New Mexico state health order prohibiting mass gatherings, the NB3 Foundation will be hosting their 2020 NB3FIT Community XC Race VIRTUALLY! So, what does that mean? Going virtual means that not only can our local families and friends participate, but now our relatives near and far can run/walk the race, too!
This year’s NB3FIT Community XC Race experience will be different, but the goal remains the same: to get Native youth and families active and healthy!
