Reno, Nevada – The 2020 Native Strong Comedy Slam and Jam will return to the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego on March 26, 2020. New for this year, the event will feature a live music performance along with an online auction of signed guitars donated by Tribal casinos. “We love the Native Strong Comedy Slam & Jam and are thrilled to have it return to Hard Rock Hotel,” said Rana Kay, Director Of Public Relations, Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. “The addition of a music component this year makes it an even more exciting partnership.”

This is an opportunity for Tribal casinos to promote their entertainment, create a story between artist and casino, and get some free publicity … all while supporting a worthy cause! Aaron Moss, General Manager, Black Oak Casino Resort, shared “It is our pleasure to support Native children’s health and the Notah Begay III Foundation. The topics of creating healthy habits and leadership development are important subjects and should be supported. On behalf of the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians it is our pleasure to support these causes.”

Raving is accepting signed guitars through the end of this year, December 31, 2019. Guitars will go on bid last week of January 2020, leading up to the sixth annual Native Strong Comedy Slam & Jam on March 26, 2020, during the Indian Gaming Tradeshow & Convention (NIGA).

All proceeds from the online auction and event ticket sales will go to the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation in support of their efforts to improve Native children’s health. The guitars will be auctioned online, and anyone can bid – all money raised will go to the NB3 Foundation.
