Welcoming Christopher Orozco to the Raving Team

Christopher’s connection to Raving began long before this announcement. At just 18 years old, he attended a Raving training while at the very beginning of his career in gaming. Today, he returns not as an attendee, but as a partner—helping organizations build stronger leaders and healthier workplaces across Indian Country.

Christopher brings deep experience working with tribal gaming operations, tribal enterprises, and tribal organizations. As an enrolled member of the Pit River Tribe in Northern California, his work is both personal and grounded—shaped by lived experience as well as leadership practice. His approach reflects a deep understanding of the cultural, operational, and people-centered dynamics that define successful tribal organizations.

For decades, Raving has worked alongside tribes to develop strength-based, intentional leadership programs that honor culture, elevate people, and drive performance. At the heart of this work is the belief that leadership and HR are inseparable—and that strong organizations are built on purpose, clarity, and respect.

Christopher shares this belief wholeheartedly. His work is unapologetically people-first, practical, and focused on impact. He understands that when employees thrive, everything else follows—from guest experience and operational outcomes to long-term organizational health.

Christopher will be actively involved in Raving’s HR and Leadership initiatives, contributing to conversations, learning experiences, and programs designed to support leaders at every level.
