Dan joined the Tribal Gaming & Hospitality team as Client Service Manager in August 2023. He will be working with TG&H clients to provide quality multi-channel marketing services to the gaming and hospitality industry.
Early in his professional career Dan joined a start-up marketing firm as employee number 6 and, over the course of 5 years, became a valuable part of the company’s growth. Beginning in a cost-effective office in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon, the company grew to 100+ employees and 4 high profile offices across the state.
After the pandemic, which took a toll on this small company, Dan decided to re-locate home to Coos Bay, Oregon to support and work for his own Tribe at The Mill Casino Hotel & RV Park, owned by the Coquille Indian Tribe. While exploring a career in gaming, Dan was introduced to Tribal Gaming & Hospitality.
What Dan discovered while with that small company was his interest in building relationships across business channels. He recognized, and enjoyed, his ability to understand people and create solutions to meet their goals. While studying Graphic Design at C.A.L. College he soon realized that his forte was not in helping people design their dreams, but in helping people find a path to achieve them.
Dan’s education has taught him skills involving photoshop, illustrator, and Indesign and he believes in the value of experience. He credits his knowledge of people, relationships, and honest communication as key factors in his success.
With a passion for being outdoors, you can often find Dan at the sand dunes on something motorized, on a porch playing guitar or exploring Oregon with his camera in hand. He recently completed a course with the U.K. School of Photography to further enhance his interest and passion for photography.
