Patrick Horning is the National Tribal Strategic Alliance Executive for the University of Phoenix where he oversees all internal and external tribal related activities, processes and business partnerships.
He was raised in a predominately Native Alaskan community outside Anchorage as well as Kenai and Fairbanks for more than 20 years.
Patrick holds two bachelor’s degrees in management and business as well as a master’s degrees in education and an MBA. He is currently earning a doctoral degree with a dissertation topic of Disproportionate Progression Rates of Native American College Students.
Patrick and the University of Phoenix are heavily committed and involved with NIEA and NIGA to help achieve academic success in all levels of education throughout Indian Country, Alaska and Hawaii. Patrick is part of Raving’s Leadership and Tribal Development team.
