Raving Next: Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference hosted in the Land of Enchantment

Reno, NV – On January 28 – 30, 2020, Raving will take their base of Tribal casino operators and industry suppliers to Isleta Resort & Casino in Albuquerque, NM. Since 2001, thousands of U.S. and Canadian Tribal casino executives have attended this prestigious event to expand their marketing, analytics and strategic operational knowledge.

As one attendee commented, “I go to many conferences and shows and always look forward to the Raving event. It’s the one conference that I walk away from with ideas that I can implement in my organization.” Another 2019 attendee commented on the format, “I love the round tables and group activities. It pushed me out of my comfort-zone, and I got to know a lot of great people. I learned a lot from a diverse group of others. Thanks for a great learning experience!”

Top Tribal Properties Vie to Host this Leading Event

Raving NEXT - Deana Scott, Alan Meister, and Deann KamalaniPueblo of Isleta is among 23 Indian Tribes located in New Mexico and their nineteen Pueblos. The resort’s location, with their proximity to historic Old Town Albuquerque, will give attendees an opportunity to get a taste of the “Land of Enchantment.”

According to Deana Scott, Raving Principal and CEO, “From beginning to end, this conference provides a unique learning experience for attendees and it starts with the host property. The conference allows the awarded Tribe the ability to share their culture and industry expertise with other Tribal and gaming industry executives. When the conference first began in 2001, many of the Tribal facilities were in sprung structures or bingo halls. Today, holding this event at new, state-of-the-art facilities has become a part of celebrating the success of Tribes’ gaming ventures.”

Harold Baugus, long-time gaming veteran and industry leader added, “As CEO, I am honored Isleta Resort & Casino will be hosting the 2020 Raving NEXT: Indian Gaming Analytics & Marketing Conference. We are looking forward to showcasing what Isleta has to offer. I believe our partners at Raving and their conference guests will not only enjoy our facilities but will be delighted with all the experiences unique to the Albuquerque area. On behalf of the Isleta team, we would like to thank Raving for choosing us to host this respected conference. We are looking forward to seeing some old friends and also meeting new ones.”

An Evolving Conference for Today’s Gaming Executives

As the industry has changed, so has the conference program, reflecting a curriculum to help execs better harness technology, “big data” analytics, and other 21st century challenges. Scott and her team have created a three-day program and all-inclusive event. Duane Chapman, AGM, Lake of the Torches Resort Casino and a 2019 Raving Next Tribal Scholarship participant added, “I can’t say enough for how Raving has created a very unique conference agenda. The conference is excitingly packed with many well regarded and respected professionals associated to the marketing and gaming industries. It’s so greatly appreciated to have such interpersonal face-to-face communications with so many talented people during and continuing well on after the conference. Positive relationships are made from attending this conference!”

Unlike other conferences, this learning event kicks-off with a group project, using pre-collected survey data from registered conference attendees. This ensures that what’s top of mind and relevant for attendees is addressed and weaved throughout the program. Raving is also the first conference in the gaming industry to integrate different learning tools. These include live polling and a custom gamification program to engage attendees.

Scott shared, “What we’ve learned from our attendees is that they need and want more ways to learn than through traditional classroom methods. With the positive response we had with our format changes over the last three years, we’ll continue to develop this program with the goal that attendees find solutions and answers to their specific problems and understand that learning is not ‘one size fits all.’”

Added to conference presentations, roundtables, keynote luncheons and unique networking events, participants have the opportunity to visit with a wide selection of exhibitors.

Registration for the three-day event as well as sponsor and exhibitor space will open July 15.
